The Italian Serie A club Internazionale has confirmed the injury to their top scorer Alan Franco, who is currently out for several weeks with a knee ligament injury.
Franco, 27, was signed by the club in July 2019 and made his debut against Udinese on August 4th. He scored two goals and provided assists in that match, helping the team to secure a 1-1 draw.
Unfortunately, Franco suffered a knee ligament injury during training sessions on August 2nd. The injury required surgery,Campeonato Brasileiro Direct which will sideline him for several months. However, he is expected to be back in action soon, as the team continues its preparations for the upcoming season.
Franco's absence could have a significant impact on the team's performance, especially given his goal-scoring prowess. The team had already lost a key player to injury earlier this month, leaving them vulnerable against teams that were looking to strengthen their attack.
Internazionale will now look to fill the void left by Franco, and they will need to make sure that they have enough players available to help the team perform at their best when they face tougher opponents next season.
